July 28, 2025…Friends of Luscher Farm is currently recruiting for a new Treasurer and for general volunteers.
We are a 501 c 3 non-profit with a mission to advocate for Luscher Farm Park and to support its agricultural and environmental programs, protect and enhance its natural resources, and preserve its historical legacy. The organization is run by an all-volunteer board of directors now seeking a new director to serve as Treasurer. We are also seeking non-board volunteers to assist with new initiatives.
TREASURER. Seeking someone with accounting expertise and experience using QuickBooks Online to manage FOLF’s modest annual budget and banking, prepare & file financial reports, and generally provide financial advice & counsel. The new treasurer would be elected to the Board of Directors in September to serve a two-year Director term (Oct 1, 2025-Sep 30, 2027). The Treasurer is an Officer of the board, elected annually.
Volunteers. Seeking anyone interested in assisting FOLF’s development of and advocacy for programming, projects and uses that are focused on the public benefit derived from the agricultural, environmental, and/or historical aspects of Luscher Farm Park. Examples include: development of educational tours & lectures (Walks & Talks); development of cultural exhibits (Harvest Scarecrows); and project leaders for natural area maintenance/preservation efforts.
